Title: 9 dB link margin gain using a Quantum Dot SOA in an 8-wavelength DWDM 50 Gbps NRZ CPO link

This work evaluates a QD-SOA in an 8λ, 50 Gbps NRZ DWDM CPO link, demonstrating ~9 dB link margin improvement versus a baseline system. The gain enables reduced transmit power and increased tolerance to channel loss, with modest power penalties (~2 dB for 8λ operation).

These results show that data-SOA integration can extend DWDM scalability and improve efficiency in next-generation optical interconnects.
