Guide 1 EVK: 16λ DWDM Optical Source Demo
This demo features Lightmatter’s Guide 1 EVK, a 16-wavelength DWDM light source designed for high-performance optical interconnect systems.
The system demonstrates a stable O-band optical source centered around 1310 nm, with precise wavelength control and high output power per fiber. The light engine is integrated across multiple platforms, including Passage EVK50, EVK100, and M1000 EVK systems.
What’s demonstrated:
- Wavelengths: 16λ DWDM centered at 1310 nm (O-band)
- Channel spacing: 200 GHz per wavelength
- Stability: ±20 GHz wavelength accuracy
- Output power: Up to 110 mW per fiber
- Configuration: 4+4 interleaved mode aligned with OCI-style architectures
- Integration: Deployed across multiple Lightmatter evaluation platforms
Measured using an optical spectrum analyzer and power meter, this setup highlights the precision and performance of Lightmatter’s laser technology for scalable optical systems.
