Jim Carr

Jim Carr is the Director of Systems Engineering at Lightmatter where he leads a team of system design engineers to develop chassis and rack level products to showcase Lightmatter’s interconnect technology. With over 30 years of industry experience as both a system hardware design engineer and team leader, he has developed rack mounted network storage platforms for the telecom and datacom markets. He has also worked at fabless semiconductor companies creating reference designs for ODMs building servers and add-in cards. Jim earned his BS in Electrical Engineering from Merrimack College.
